I have always lived in Michigan, and while I prefer warmer temperatures most of the time, I feel very fortunate to live in a State where I can witness the seasons change every few months.  There's just something special about cooler days, bulky warm sweaters and wrapping your hands around a mug of hot cocoa that screams Fall to me.

I knew when my son walked through the door carrying these red treasures from apple picking, that I'd make pretty darn good use of them!

If you live in Michigan, you know that Fall not only is knocking on the front door, but it's come in out of the cold and poured itself a cup of coffee. It's been raining all day with a high temperature of 45 degrees......the perfect day to fire up the oven and get the Apple Crisp party started!

I wanted to talk a little bit about blogging today. I know some of you have your own blog, others may not, but if you do, you may agree with me......the connection to blogging isn't as strong as it was a few years ago.

Should we attribute this to the the addiction of other social media channels such as Instagram and Facebook? Everyone is short on time these days. Let's face it, if you have a pulse? you're probably short on time.
