Tuesday Tours: Eclectic Glam Style!

Welcome to this weeks edition of Spindle & Rye Tuesday Tours!
I couldn't be more excited to bring you inside the gorgeous home of Haneen's Haven for a closer look.
Haneen lives in Michigan (GO Michigan!) with her husband and four children. She is a stay at home Mom with an art degree, and her home is where she pours all of her creative energy.
If you love bold colors, pattern mixing and texture beyond belief, you will adore her #eclecticglamstyle!

Her home leaves me speechless and I'm always finding "new things" to love in each & every photo I see. If you are not already following her on Instagram, you need to add her account to your feed as soon as possible....trust me, you won't be disappointed!

 I stenciled the entrance with a tone on tone look. The more you walk, the more color you see, so I thought I'd keep that wall neutral. 

I stenciled the feature wall in here, but this time in a deep chocolate brown, and topped it with an airy gallery of mirrors and empty frames- some from stores, some from antique shops. I love to entertain, and often times you'll find me and my girlfriends in here catching up and enjoying a beverage. That cabinet is filled with anything from my mom's old coffee set, to clay art my kids have brought home from school.

New designed Office!!  It was essentially used as a toy room, and I just reached a point where I wanted to glam up the space and move the toys to our finished basement. I knew I wanted a deep navy on the walls (went with Ralph Lauren's Club Navy) accented with gold finishes and tiny pops of hot pink. I think the Sputnik chandelier from Lucent Light Shop on Etsy really makes the whole space! The green cabinet was purchased as solid white from a new store called At Home. I'd always wanted to try gold dipping, and because I knew I needed some storage to remain for my 2 year old's go-to toys, I thought this cabinet was the perfect opportunity to give a little makeover. A new favorite in the room is the sign I ordered from A Cut Above the Rust! It has one of my favorite Picasso quotes on it... "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." Perfect for hanging above my kids' artwork!

Kitchen is definitely a work in progress. I had a rug under the table that I recently moved to the basement. It was orange and I was feeling like the kitchen was a bit orange-overloaded. Still on the hunt for a perfect new one. Trying to find ways to keep my kitchen light and airy since we have dark counters and cabinets!

The dining room is probably the most traditional space in our home. My favorite thing about it is the gallery of rustic frames with photos of our trip to Napa. The frames remind me of old wine barrels, so they seemed fitting. 

All four of my kids' bedrooms have won Project of the Week on Project Nursery. In my son's nursery, I wanted a blend of rustic and modern. I absolutely love old pallet walls, but wasn't sure how to go about installing one, and I also wasn't sure how practical it would be for a nursery. This wallpaper was a perfect compromise. The Z marquee sign was a DIY. The wall above his dresser is filled with things that have lots of sentimental value. The framed photo is a shot of part of my dad's old painter's palette. I love the colors and the sentiment. I also framed my husband's old childhood Detroit Tiger's tshirt. And the sock monkey was a handmade gift to my husband as a baby.

The yellow room is my 9 and 5 year old's shared space. The beds in here are me and my sister's childhood beds. I painted and stenciled them (and the feature wall) with stencils from Royal Design Studio. They have a fabulous selection of stencils! Love the modern chevron juxtaposed with the traditional look of lace on the walls.

Tween room: She wanted bold, and I gave it to her! I wasn't so sure about this color on all four walls, but we broke it up with a polka dot stencil, fab bedding from Pottery Barn Teen, and solid white drapes. I don't regret it. This room is FUN! The dresser was my husband's childhood dresser. I topped the drawers with Overlays painted to match the polka dots, and added fun hot pink pulls from Hobby Lobby. Just another fun way to add color to the room and customize the space. 

Master bedroom: Went with Benjamin Moore's Kendall Charcoal, and once again chose to do an accent wall for a sitting area with a stencil. I love that this room has a little bling in the pillows and lamps and mirrors.

Pseudo mudroom: I'd love to finish part of the garage as a real mudroom someday, but for now we took the doors off of closet at the entrance coming in from the garage, painted some stripes and added a bench and hooks. It works for now!
